SLICK
SLICK: a free AI texting coach
Paste a screenshot of any chat. Get three ways to reply that sound like you, and see why each one works.
SLICK is an AI texting assistant for the moments when you don't know what to send. It reads the conversation you're actually having and writes replies in your own voice, not a script. Every reply comes with a Coach's Take: a short note on why it works, so you get better at texting instead of depending on an app.
How it works
- Screenshot the chat. Any app: iMessage, WhatsApp, Instagram, Snapchat, Slack.
- Paste it into SLICK. It reads who said what and where the conversation is going.
- Pick a reply. You get three, in three registers, all in your voice. Tweak the read until it sounds like you, then copy and send.
What SLICK does
Reply
Three replies in three registers, each with a Coach's Take on why it works.
Text Makeover
Turns a dead-end thread into a conversation again.
Ask
Answers questions like "what did he mean by that?" from the chat itself, and shows the message the answer came from. No scores, no verdicts.
Notebooks (optional)
Keep a conversation and SLICK starts a Notebook for that person, so every later reply and answer gets sharper. Keeping is a choice, never a default. What you don't keep is deleted within days, and Notebooks can be switched off.
Wingman
Send a secure link to your group chat so friends can vote on your reply. They don't need to download anything, and links expire in 24 hours.
Before You Meet
Before a first meeting, SLICK reads back what the person has told you, points out what doesn't line up, and gives you questions worth asking. It does not run background checks, does not search public records, and does not tell you whether anyone is safe.
Who it's for
Anyone who has stared at a message too long. SLICK is built for every conversation that matters: a crush, a new friend, your manager, your mom, the group chat.
